    BKB Grain Storage has depots throughout South Africa’s summer and winter grain producing areas. The company stores and manages more than 500 000 tons of grain and lucern annually. Over the years the company has gained invaluable experience and expertise in the practical management and handling of grain stores.

    BKB Logistics manages a large fleet of trucks to ensure the efficient flow of agricultural products. The company manages a national logistical network.

About Us

GrainCo Holdings is a participant in the South African grain industry. The subsidiary companies operate across a broad spectrum of activities within the food processing chain.

GrainCo’s key areas of expertise are:

• Collateral management,
• Marketing of grain, lucerne and other soft commodities,
• Management of price risk,
• Logistics and transport,
• Financial services,
• Processing of agricultural products.

GrainCo was founded in 2000 and became part of the BKB Group in 2006.

BKB, a public company, has been a dominant player in the South African agricultural sector for a century. BKB is dominant within South Africa in the livestock, wool and morhair and retail market areas.

GrainCo has four subsidiaries:

• BKB Grain Storage,
